N.E Organic Spices: a brand and a site built for buyers who've never met you.

N.E Organic Spices exports premium organic spices direct from farmers in Northeast India to wholesale buyers worldwide. Neither the brand nor the site existed before this project — both had to convince an international buyer to trust a name they'd never heard of.

The challenge

A wholesale buyer decides in seconds whether a supplier looks legitimate.

N.E Organic Spices sources directly from farmers in Northeast India and sells in bulk to international distributors and retailers — a market where trust, origin, and consistency matter more than a flashy pitch. Cutting out the middleman is the whole value proposition, but it also means the brand has no established distributor name to lean on. The visual identity and the website were the buyer's first, and often only, signal of legitimacy before they picked up the phone. Neither existed yet, which meant this wasn't a redesign of one or the other — it was a brand system and a website, built together from a blank page.

The research

The sourcing story had to survive contact with an expert buyer.

A wholesale spice buyer isn't a casual shopper — many of them know the growing regions, the harvest calendar, and the going rate better than most marketers do. Generic "purity and freshness" language doesn't survive five minutes with that audience, so the brand and site copy were built around the specific things that actually separate Northeast Indian spices from a commodity bag: Lakadong turmeric from Meghalaya's Jaintia Hills, prized for a curcumin content well above the commercial average and now protected by a Geographical Indication tag; king chilli (Naga chilli), one of the hottest chillies grown anywhere and native to exactly this region; and black pepper grown across the same small-farmer belt the brand sources from directly.

None of this is stock copy — it's the same detail a wholesale buyer would look up themselves, stated up front instead of making them go find it.

The brand system

Built the identity before the interface.

An earthy, origin-forward palette and a mark that reads clearly at a glance — because a wholesale buyer skimming a dozen supplier sites in one sitting was never going to study a logo, just register it.

The website

Structured around what a buyer actually needs to see.

Not a consumer storefront — a wholesale credibility document with a product catalogue behind it, live now at neorganicspices.com.

Product catalogue up front

All nine core products — turmeric, king chilli, black pepper, cardamom, and more — presented with clear, scannable cards rather than a buried PDF.

"Why choose us," answered directly

The mission stated in plain language on the homepage itself — preserve tradition, empower the farmers, deliver the highest quality — backed by organic certification and origin purity, since that's exactly what a wholesale buyer is vetting for before they'll enquire.

Direct paths to enquire

Phone, WhatsApp, and a partnership inquiry form placed prominently, because a wholesale buyer who's convinced wants to talk to a person immediately, not fill out a generic contact page.
