About
We care how it looks. We care even more about what it does.
Be Creative is a website and custom software studio in Guwahati, Assam, working remotely with businesses across the UK, Canada, Dubai and the UAE, and India.
01 — Who you’ll work with
Shashankk Saraf
Founder
Be Creative is Shashankk’s studio, and he is who you talk to. The way he works is the way the studio works: take a complicated business problem, break it down until it is simple, explain it clearly, then work out what should exist.
That order matters. Plenty of studios start at “what should we build”. Starting at “what is actually going wrong” tends to produce something smaller, cheaper and more useful — and occasionally the honest answer that you don’t need us yet.
02 — How we think about it
- The problem first
- Most briefs describe a solution someone has already decided on. We go back a step and ask what is actually not working. It is a shorter conversation than it sounds, and it changes what gets built.
- Design and build together
- The same people design it and write the code. Nothing gets lost in a handover, and nobody designs something that can’t be built well.
- Small and finished
- A small, complete first version beats a large, partial one. You can use it, and what you learn decides what comes next.
- You own it
- The design, the code, the hosting, the domain. When the work is paid for, it is yours to take anywhere.
03 — Where we work
Guwahati, and four time zones.
The studio is in Guwahati, Assam. Everything else happens over calls, shared screens and working software you can use before it is finished: a fixed review rhythm, hours that overlap yours, and pricing in US dollars. We do not have offices in the markets we work with, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
United Kingdom
Overlap through most of the UK afternoon.
Canada
Overlap in the Canadian morning.
Dubai and the UAE
Overlap most of the working day.
India
Same time zone. In person when it genuinely helps.
